Larry Kling, 67, of Webster City, died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center with Rev. Peter Peterson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Lawrence Eugene Kling, son of Troy and Eugenia Orange Kling, was born November 10, 1936 at Kansas City, Mo. He received his education in the Des Moines School system. In 1956, he married Nancy Robertson at Des Moines. The couple resided at Des Moines where he operated service stations. The couple were later divorced. He then worked at J.W. Perry wholesale florist for several years. On June 28, 1980, he married Janet Kay Buzick Baker at Webster City. The couple resided at Webster City. He had been in auto sales with Dick Hahne at Quality Motors for 23 years.

Mr. Kling is survived by his wife, Janet, son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Rhonda Kling of Altoona; daughters and son-in-law, Stephanie and Rick Young, Debbie Kling, all of Des Moines; step-children, Sandra Caquelin, Connie Just and Jeffrey Baker, all of Webster City; 5 grandchildren and 8 step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of the Moose Family Center.
