Helen Brisbin, 87, of Webster City, died Monday, October 18, 2007 at Crestview Senior Living. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Rev. Ray Salemink officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and prior to the service on Friday. Arrangements were made with Foster Funeral & Cremation Center.

Helen W. Weseloh, daughter of John and Grace Weseloh was born May 18, 1917 near Blairsburg. The family moved to Mankato, Mn., a short time later moving to Webster City area until 1930, when her parents died. She moved to Fort Dodge and lived with her sponsors in baptism, Mr. and Mrs. August Carl. She received her education in the Fort Dodge school system, graduating in 1935. For several years she worked for different businesses as office manager and bookkeeper. On December 13, 1942 she married Fred William Brisbin at Fort Dodge. The couple traveled to Seattle, Wa. where he served with the Coastal Artillery in the U.S. Army Depot for two years, then she returned to Fort Dodge when Fred went overseas. They returned to Fort Dodge following his discharge then moved to Webster City in 1958, where Fred was transferred by the George A. Hormel Company. Mr. Brisbin died December 25, 1993. She had resided at Crestview Senior Living since December of 2000.

Mrs. Brisbin is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Penny Brisbin of Estes Park, Co.; granddaughters and spouses, Jody and Craig Poe of Truckee, Ca.; Jamie and Keira Breslin of Hillsboro, N.J.; great-grandson, Shane Craig; sister, Betty Copeland of Golden, Co.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Weseloh; sister, Ruth Kehm.

She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Moose Family Center, Webster City Country Club and C.S.P. Club.
