JOHN WESELOH DIES AT HOME

Had Been Ill Only Since Saturday; Pneumonia Causes Death

John Weseloh, age 46 years, died at his home last evening at 11:55 o'clock following a short illness. Death was caused by pneumonia. He had been sick only since last Saturday.

The funeral services will be held from St. Paul's Lutheran Church Saturday at 2 o'clock with the Rev. W.C. Fleischer officiating. There will be a brief service at the home at 1 o'clock, and burial will be made in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Weseloh, who lived about four miles northwest of Webster City, was born Oct. 18, 1884 in Germany. At the age of eight years he came to the United States from Germany in the fall of 1892 with his parents and settled in Webster City. He was married to Miss Sarah Grace West, of Webster City, and in 1919 the family moved to Mankato. In 1920 he returned and settled on his farm northwest of town.

He is survived by his wife and four children, Ruth, Helen, Robert and Betty Jean. There are also four sisters, Mrs. Frank Porter, Mrs. August Carl, Mrs. George Freitag and Christina Weseloh, all of Fort Dodge. His father died in 1911 and his mother in 1918.

Three weeks ago Mr. Weseloh became ill with intestinal flu which weakened his system. He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran church.
