Monday, October 11, 2004Jacob Amosson, 14, passed away October 9, 2004 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 12 at Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Ankeny. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Williams, IA.
Jacob was born on July 6, 1990 in Webster City. He loved watching sports with Dad, especially the Cyclones and Vikings games. Jacob also loved being held and read to by Mom.
He is survived by his parents, Jean and Tony of Ankeny, his grandmas, Bernadette Schnepf and Phyllis Bolt, grandpa, David Amosson; great-grandma, Vaughna Amosson, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and special caregiver, Janet Willey.
Jacob was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher and grandpa, William Schnepf.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 11 at the church with a Vigil at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Miracle Network and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
