Edward Dale Crabtree, 64, Dardanelle, Ark., formerly of Webster City, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004 at Dardanelle Hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1939 at Webster City to the late Hanes Edward and Rosella Marie Beeks Crabtree. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a lifetime member of the Roger-Rye VFW Post #2283 in Russellville, and a 25-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post #3928 in Russellville. He attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Russellville.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Strensland Crabtree of Dardanelle; a son, Donald Dale Crabtree of Dardanelle; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Darryl Crabtree of Bethany, MO., Delmer and Ann Crabtree of Bethany, MO.; one sister and brother-in-law, Roma Jean and Bill Thayer of Calamus, IA., two granddaughters, Amber Donae Hays of Russellville, Mary Tess Crabtree of Atkins and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 at the Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Sheppard and Rev. Wiley Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Brearley Cemetery with Military Honors by Roger-Rye VFW Post #2283 of Russellville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Ron Olson, Dewey Olson, Bill Blackford, Fred Svendsen, Lee Roy Parker, Jim Hittle, Greg Myers, Lyle Hawkins. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Arkansas River Valley Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle, Ark.
