Anna M. Dilley, 88, of Webster City, died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the Hamilton Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Rev. John Flaherty, celebrant. Burial will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center with a scripture service to be held at 7 p.m.

Anna Marie Hughes, daughter of Joseph and Ellen Winn Hughes was born on June 29, 1916 at Meeker, Minnesota. She received her education from the Meeker and Litchfield Schools. On June 23, 1940 she married Wilbur Eugene Dilley at Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City. Anna was a homemaker. She liked to sew, knit, play Bingo and solve crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Mr. Dilley died on August 5, 1993. Anna had been residing at Southfield since August of 2003.

She is survived by her son, Richard Dilley of Webster City; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Gary Jensen of Callender; granddaughters, Angie Dilley of Webster City, Jolene Rude of Grimes, Kimberly Sandgren of Callender; seven great grandchildren and one sister, Louise Almdran of Litchfield, MN.

In addition to her husband, Wilbur, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald Dilley, four brothers, John, Joseph, Emmett and Lloyd Hughes.

Mrs. Dilley was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.
