Janet Bossenberger Kulberg, 71, Wakefield, RI, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004 at the Rhode Island Hospital at Providence, RI. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Travis Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. to service time.

Janet Marie Bossenberger, daughter of William and Anna Breitenkamp Bossenberger, was born at Webster City. She was a graduate of Iowa State University, received a master's degree from Columbia University at New York City and a doctorate from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn. She had been associate dean of the graduate school at the University of Rhode Island for several years.

She is survived by brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth Bossenberger of Salt Lake City, Utah and William and Shirley Bossenberger of Ames; several nieces and nephews.
