Dorothy Rinehimer Tallman, 89, Webster City, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004 at the Hamilton Hospital at Webster City. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Graceland Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Caquelin officiating. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

Dorothy Mae Heffelheier, daughter of Henry and Anna Blattspieler Heffelmeier, was born March 27, 1915 at Ackley. She received her education at the Robertson Public School at Robertson. On Sept. 4, 1938 she married George Arnold Rinehimer at Eagle Grove. The couple had resided at Webster City, Estherville, Carroll and Fort Dodge. She had been employed at Fantle's, Gates, and as a dental assistant. Mr. Rinehimer died in 1958. On Sept. 5, 1964 she married Myron Marion Tallman. The couple resided at Fort Dodge and she assisted her husband in his auction business. Mr. Tallman died Dec. 15, 1989. She resided at Fort Dodge, Faribault, Minn., Queen Creek, Ariz., and for the past two months at the Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City.

Mrs. Tallman is survive by daughter, Nancy Rinehimer of Queen Creek, Ariz., brother and sister-in-law Harvey and Margaret Heffelmeier of Ackley, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by brothers, Walter and Mearl Heffelmeier; sisters, Minnie Williamson, Gladys Weiner and Edith Stont.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Fort Dodge, Elizabeth Circle, Bible Study Group, 60 Plus and the Christian Women's Club.
