Monday, August 9, 2004Jean was the daughter of Frank and Maude Talcott, was born and raised in Iowa. The family moved to Webster City in 1933 where she attended and graduated from school. She enlisted in the Navy in 1942, where she met her future husband, Lindley S. Wicks. They lived in Hoodsport, WA at the time of her death on July 23, 2004.
Her parents, sister Joyce Vance, brother Richard Talcott and a daughter preceded her in death. Surviving, besides her husband, are sisters Lois McCollough and Beth Christiansen, sister-in-law Barbara Talcott, brothers-in-law Lee Christiansen and William Vance, 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
