Funeral services for Pearl Violet Boswell, 76, were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home with Don Basye officiating and burial in the Graceland Cemetery.

Mrs. Boswell, a lifelong Hamilton County resident, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at her home in Webster City.

Pearl Violet Kent, daughter of William Zenues and Gertie Williamson Kent, was born Dec. 18, 1904 in Saratoga Township in Hamilton County. She was reared and educated in Webster City and was married to Clarence Boswell Sept. 2, 1922 at Webster City.

The family lived in Lehigh for eight years before returning to Webster City. Her husband died in 1958 and she continued to live here.

Survivors include four daughters and one son, Elnor (Mrs. LaVern) Glawe of Blairsburg, Genevieve (Mrs. Dannie) Lesher of Clarion, Dorothy (Mrs. John) Berleen of Webster City, Everett Lee Boswell of Norfolk, Va., and Verla (Mrs. Leonard) Carlson of Kamrar; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers, Fern (Mrs. Dale) Pierson of California, William Kent of Webster City, Della (Mrs. Rudolph) Bohms of Fort Dodge, James Kent of Spring Valley, Minn., and Minnie Hanson of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Alice (Mrs. Joseph) Boylan; both parents; two grandchildren; one sister and four brothers.
