Elnor Glawe, 80, Webster City, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster Chapel with Gary Myers officiating. Burial will be in the Cass Township Cemetery, north of Webster City. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday.

Elnor Luella Boswell, daughter of Clarence and Pearl Kent Boswell, was born March 9, 1924 at Lehigh. She received her education in Webster City schools. On January 12, 1950 she married LaVern George Glawe at Webster City. The couple resided at Webster City and moved to Blairsburg in 1976. She had worked at Morton Frozen Foods and the Farm Journal. Mr. Glawe died Oct. 3, 1988. She moved to Webster City in October of 2002. She had resided at Southfield since May of this year.

Mrs. Glawe is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Laura and Vic Weisberg of Blairsburg, Linda Minard of Webster City; sons, LaVern Glawe of Oak Creek, Colo., and Larry Irving of Colorado; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Genevieve Lesher of Clarion, Verla Carlson of Webster City; brother Everett Boswell of Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son in infancy, William Irving, daughter-in-law, Doris Glawe, her parents; sisters, Dorothy Berleen and Alice Powell.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
