Lynda Brown, 60, Fort Dodge, died Monday, July 5, 2004 at the Greenleaf Health Care at Fort Dodge. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Graceland Cemetery with Rev. John Grebner officiating. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Lynda Caroline Smith, daughter of Arnold and Effie Fleenor Smith, was born November 15, 1943 at Webster City. She received her education in Webster City schools, graduating in 1963. On May 3, 1964 she married Phillip Eugene Brown at Nashua. The couple resided at Webster City. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Phillip of Marshalltown; sons, Steve Brown and Shane Brown, both of Webster City; daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Robert Menamin of Salem, Mo.; grandchildren, Abigail, Sarah, Robert Thomas and Timothy Menamin; sisters, Wanda Dingman and Nancy Smith, both of Webster City, Audrey Hudson of Pleasanton, Ca.; brother, Arnold Smith of Manson; aunt, Norma Schutt of Jefferson, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Betty Burke.
