Russell Thomas "Tom" Stein, 53, Omaha, Neb., died June 2, 2004 at Bergan Mercy Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday at Covenant Presbyterian Church with interment in Voss-Mohr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association, PO Box 821, Haddonfield, NJ 08033.

Tom Stein worked at Central States Indemnity and was a lifelong piano, organ, coronet and baritone musician and loved to spend time with family and friends. He was a member of the Webster City High School Class of 1969.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sarah Stein, Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Jennifer Stein of Papillion, Neb.; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Geoff Naujokaitis, a granddaughter, Alexis Naujokaitis, Wilsonville, Ore. (and he would have become Papa again in Oct.); other survivors include three brothers and families, all in Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Stein.
