Oma Garth, 95, Webster City, died Friday, June 4, 2004 at Crestview Manor Senior Living. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Monday and at the church after 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Oma Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of Clifton and Edith Riley Taylor, was born March 6, 1909 at Jewell. She received her education at Jewell and graduated from Stanhope Consolidated School in 1928. On Nov. 22, 1928 she married Raymond McVicker Garth at Webster City. The couple resided on a farm near Jewell then later moved to Webster City. She had been employed at JC Penney's, Anthony's, S & M Finance, as a representative of Tri-Chem and a homemaker. Mr. Garth died Sept. 21, 1996. They had spent 22 winters in Mesa, Ariz. She had resided at Crestview Manor Apartments for 6 years and at Crestview Manor since September of 2003.

Mrs. Garth is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Dunbar of Webster City, Marlene and Gary Fonken of Upland, Calif., Sharon and John Mark of Eldorado Hills, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Sutherland of Westminster, Calif.; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Taylor of Ames; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Helen Reed Addy; brother Wayne Taylor, and son-in-law, Dick W. Dunbar.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and Purity Rebekah Lodge #72.
