Lucille A. Faine, 77, Webster City, died Saturday, April 16, 2004 at University of Iowa Hospitals. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City with Revs. John Grebner and Doug Tiffany officiating. She was cremated and there will be no visitation.

Lucille is survived by her husband Eldon, son Paul and his wife Rosie, and grandsons Jack and Joshua of Chicago. She is also survived by her brothers Rudolph Schoon of Pomeroy, Bill Schoon of Portage, Wis., and Richard Schoon of Rhode Island, sisters, Margaret Erickson of Marathon, Delephine Windfeldt of Austin, Minn., and Helen Hatteberg of Bella Vista, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Schoon and her brother, Gerdes.

Lucille was born Oct. 1, 1926 in Fonda, Iowa. She graduated from Fonda High School. She worked as a telegrapher for the Illinois Central Railroad. On Dec. 9, 1949 she married Eldon Faine at Holy Rosary parsonage in Fort Dodge. She worked with her husband as a receptionist for the past 45 years at his chiropractic office.

Lucille was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was on the board of review at Southfield Care Center for the past 15 years. She was also a pen pal and reading partner at Pleasant View Elementary School.
