Gertrude Eggers, 81, Omaha, died Dec. 25, 2000 at an Omaha nursing home. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Webster City with services to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Gertrude Eggers grew up in Webster City and worked for many years as a secretary for the school district and at the courthouse in Webster City.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Eggers, and sisters, Helen Chalfant and Evelyn Eggers. Survivors are three sisters, Lois Eggers of Omaha, Marian Jeske of Albuquerque, N.M. and Eleanor May Wahrman, Belle Plaine, Iowa; nieces and nephews.

[when I typed her sister Evelyn's obituary earlier it spelled Eleanor's name differently so I included both spellings.
