Wednesday, December 20, 2000Jeannine Peterson, 69, Webster City, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000 at the Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home with Cindi O'Brien, ministry assistant, officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
Donna Jeannine Peterson, daughter of Carl and Effie Brooks Peterson, was born Sept. 11, 1931 at Stanhope. She received her education in the Stanhope-Stratford area. She graduated from Stratford High School and moved to Chicago where she was employed in accounting and office work. She moved back to Webster City in 1970. She worked at Frigidaire for several years and Webster County Human Services. She had been retired for the past seven years.
Survivors are a friend, Barbara Sernel, Webster City; a sister, Yolande Fuller of Humboldt, sisters-in-law, Opal Peterson and Merle Peterson, both of Webster City; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Clovis Christeson, brothers, Edward and Lyle Peterson.
Her memberships included NOW, National Nature Conservency and the C and W Shelter of Nashua.
