Sheryl Nerem, 51, Webster City, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000 at her home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Renwick, with Rev. Sandra Krynik officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Lutheran Cemetery, south of Renwick. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home Monday from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday after 11:30 a.m. at the church.

Sheryl Elise Elliott, daughter of Harold and Martha Ford Elliott, was born Dec. 23, 1948 at Webster City. She attended Webster City Schools and graduated from Greenfield High School. She returned to Webster City and started employment with Golden Age Care Center. On July 27, 1970 she married Keith Douglas Nerem at Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City, LuVerne, Renwick, Corwith and then returned to Webster City. After their marriage, she continued with Golden Age, then Crestview Manor and for 14 years, worked at Frigidaire. She retired in February of 1994 due to failing health. The couple continued to reside in Webster City.

Survivors are her husband, Keith, brothers Harold, Jim and Gary Elliott, all of Webster City; Richard Elliott of Clarion; half-sister, Sherry Wright of Wichita Falls, Texas, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a brother, Danny Elliott.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
