Ivan J. Hill, 80, Ellsworth, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000 at the Naples Florida General Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth Wednesday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Homewood Cemetery in Ellsworth. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church with the family present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mr. Hill was a lifelong Ellsworth resident and wintered in Florida. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth.

Survivors are sons, Roger J. Hill, of Shawnee, Kan., and Richard L. Hill, Cedar Rapids; daughter Ruth Ann Waller, Boise, Idaho; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Peg) Vigors Hill and two brothers, Duane and Alvern Hill.
