Ronald C. Bosworth, 81, Las Vegas, Nev., died Sept. 30, 2000 in Las Vegas following a short illness. Graveside services were held Thursday at Cass Center Cemetery, Webster City. A nephew, Leon Weece, minister of First Christian Church of Miami, Okla., officiated.

He was born at Goldfield July 24, 1919, the son of Frank and Nettie Todd Bosworth. He was a 1936 graduate of Lincoln High School at Webster City. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, in the South Pacific and European Theatre of Operation. He was a master sergeant at the time of his discharge. Most of his career life was spent in California. In recent years, he had lived in Las Vegas.

Survivors are a brother, Perry of Tampa, Fla., a sister and brother-in-law, Lura and Keith Kent of Vancouver, Wash., a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Floyd Wood of Joplin, Mo.; nephews, Terry Kent, Wilsonville, Ore., Norlyn Kent, Bonita, Calif., Lynn Kent, Gladstone, Ore., Kenneth Wood, Tonawanda, NY., nieces, Marcia Carlson, Klamath Falls, Ore., Beth Gansveld, Greeley, Colo., Katherine Gray, Neosha, Mo., Nancy Lane, Ankeny, Cynthia Weece, Miami, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Guy.
