Wednesday, October 4, 2000Graveside services for Iona Pearl Shafer, 82, Rochester, Minn., will be held Thursday at Cass Township Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. She died Sept. 28, 2000 at the Rochester Care Center. Mrs. Shafer was a former Webster City area resident.
She was born June 6, 1918 at Jefferson. On August 10, 1936 she married Henry Lee Shafer. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry, Richard and Debbie, James and Renee, all of Rochester, Minn., nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and her parents [Walter and Pearl Beeson Van Horn].
