Edith M. Wall, 84, Webster City, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000 at Southfield Care Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Kem officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery, west of Williams. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and prior to the services on Tuesday.

Edith M. Logan, daughter of Joseph and Rosetta Rooker Logan, was born June 20, 1916 at Sigourney. She moved with her parents to Williams, where she was educated. On June 30, 1943 she married Jess Chatman Wall at Fort Dodge. The couple resided at Williams and Sioux City, then moved to Webster City in 1944. She was employed in house cleaning in the Webster City area. Mr. Wall died Sept. 17, 1987. She had resided at Southfield Care Center since June of 1997.

Survivors are her daughter, Rose Bennett of Webster City, step-daughter, Charlene Gooch of Ontario, Ca., step-son, Darrell Wall of Huntington Beach, Calif., a granddaughter, six step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a great-grandson, brothers Leo and Joseph Logan, sisters, Fern Wilson, Freda Bahr and Lucille Anderson.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Webster City.
