Friday, August 11, 2000Donald O. West, 72, Austin, Texas, died Wednesday, August 2, 2000.
He was the son of Guilford and Lourene West of Webster City. After receiving his education in Webster City he entered the army for two years. He then joined the air force and retired with 28 years of service as a senior master sergeant. He was left to raise two daughters when his first wife, Reba Anderson, passed away in 1967. In 1973, he married Joy Little and became the father of Joy's daughter, Kim.
Survivors are his wife, Joy; three daughters and sons-in-law, Majors Leslie and Kevin Formolo, Colorado Springs, Colo., Rev. Kim and Ron Little-Brooks, Pearland, Texas, and Laura Alexander and four children; one sister and brother-in-law, Dorene "Dee" and Mervin Mourlam, Webster City, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Ula May (Judy) Ludlum.
