Craig A. Dingman, 43, Rogers, AK, died Tuesday, August 1, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was formerly a Fort Dodge and Lehigh man. Following a cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8 at the Christian Church in Lehigh with Rev. Ray Artrip officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial of ashes will be at the West Lawn Cemetery in Lehigh with a flag presentation conducted by the Donald Harper Post #5720 V.F.W. of Lehigh. Memorials may be directed to the Christian Church in Lehigh.

Craig A. Dingman was born on March 23, 1957 in Fort Dodge. The son of T.H. "Sonny" and Vonda Brown Dingman, he was raised in Fort Dodge where he attended Fort Dodge public schools. He enlisted in the U.S. Army after school. After his military service he lived in both Lehigh and Fort Dodge. He was employed at Chief Industries Inc., and Geise Ready Mix and Lamperts Lumber Co. in Webster City. He was also a truck driver. He moved to Arkansas in 1997 where he was working in the tree removal service at the time of his death.

He is survived by a son, Michael Wayne Dingman, Lehigh; father,, T.H. "Sonny" Dingman, Lehigh; sisters, Deborah Schnetter, Pocahontas, Raelyne Baier of Fayetteville, AK, and Sherri Grandgeorge of Eagle Grove; and his paternal grandmother, LaVonne Dingman, Grandview Health Care Center, Dayton.

He was preceded in death by his mother Vonda Brown, maternal grandparents Bill and Leota Brown and his paternal grandfather Harold L. Dingman.
