Dorothy June Richardson Davis, 80, Ames, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Services will be Saturday at the Adams Funeral home, Ames, with Rev. Rayl Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with family present from 6:30-8 p.m.

She was born in Lipkson, Texas on June 11, 1923, the daughter of Simmeon and Nancy Beck Richardson. She resided in Webster City and worked for White Consolidated Industries (Electrolux) as a Class A and Operator. She had resided in Ames 10 years.

Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Nancy Davis of Clarion, Jerry and Marcia Davis of Boone; a daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Keith Nohrenberg of Iowa Falls; foster son and his wife, Randy and Debbie Wiener of Edgewater, Fla.; four sisters, Margaret Robbins of Lamoni, Ruth Smith of Ames, Edith Meyers of Moore, Okla., and Emma Lou Thorp, Lamoni; two brothers, Harlan Richardson of Davis City, Max Richardson of Des Moines; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, four brothers and a granddaughter, Dawn Marie Stotts.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and was active in Eastern Star. She was a retired matron.
