Frances Ramsey Dalvey passed away May 30, 2003. There will be a last rites ceremony at the gravesite in Graceland Cemetery on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

Frances Ramsey Dalvey was born in Fredonia, New York in 1904. She moved with her parents in 1905 to Buffalo, New York and was educated in New York schools, graduating in 1923 from St. Mary's private school for young ladies.

She married Leslie Ramsey from Mason City in 1924 where they operated several drug stores in Mason City and Fredericksburg, Iowa. They moved to Webster City, Iowa in 1937. Leslie Ramsey passed away in 1965. She then married Milton Dalvey in 1973 from Fort Dodge, Iowa. Milton Dalvey passed away in 1985.

Frances Ramsey Dalvey is survived by her son, Leslie Ramsey of Webster City, and two grandsons, Gregory Ramsey of Chicago, Ill., and Jeffrey Ramsey of Houston, Texas.

She was a fifty-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, a past member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, the hospital auxiliary, women's club and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church where she worked on various committees. She worked in Eichmans for 30 years.
