Terry John Reaman, 67, Webster City, died Thursday, March 6, 2003 in the Critical Care Unit at Rochester Methodist Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday at Trinity Lutheran church in Dayton, Iowa, with Dr. Richard Osslund of Memorial Lutheran Church of Ames, Iowa. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery following the service at Dayton. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #191. Lunch will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Webster City following the service. Visitation will be Sunday at Foster Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM.

Terry John Reaman, son of Willis and Magdalaine Reaman was born September 29, 1935 at Lake City. After high school, Terry served in the military, being stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. He received his further education at Luther College, and then graduated from Iowa State University. On October 8, 1965 he married Joanne Hendrickson in Mason City, Iowa. Terry worked for Farmland in Iowa Falls and Denison, Iowa.

In 1976 Terry and his family moved to Webster City where he became part owner in Webster City Custom Meats. After retirement, Terry began to pursue a theological degree at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He was called to minister as the Vicar at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dayton, Iowa. Terry was serving the church at the time of his death.

Terry is survived by his wife Jo, a son, Frederic of St. Louis, Mo., a daughter, Heidi of Webster City; his mother, four brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by an infant sister and his father.

Before his call to Dayton, Terry was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he held several offices. Terry had been a board member of Hamilton County Hospice/Respite, Hamilton Hospital Foundation, Empowerment, Country Meadows, a member of Diamond K Kiwanis, a school volunteer and a speaker for Lutheran Family Services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will go toward mission projects of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
