Gertrude Lillian Ganseveld, 93, Greeley, Colo., formerly of Webster City, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002 at the Life Care Center in Greeley following a brief illness. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Graceland Cemetery with Pastor Ray Artrip to officiate. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at Foster's Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Dale (Beth) Ganseveld of Greeley, Colo., one sister, Hazel (Walter) Mains of Clinton, Iowa, four grandchildren, Dorene (Mike) Nott of North Liberty, Iowa, Brenda (Alan) Totten of Eau Claire, Wis., Renay (Craig) Richardson of Broomfield, Colo., Kelley (David) Gonzales of Greeley, Colo., nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Klaus "Nick", nine brothers and sisters and one great-grandson.

Gertrude was born Feb. 15, 1909 in Forest City, the daughter of Ethel and Walter Reynolds. She married Klaus Nick Ganseveld on Oct. 8, 1942.

Mom/Granny was a very hard worker. She loved being with her family and always took time to play with her grandchildren (especially Yahtzee games). Her faith in God was deep and she looked forward to living in Heaven.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Church of Christ Youth Ministry Program in Webster City.
