Ellen Bibler, 83, Stanhope, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral Home, with Pastor Suzie Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and prior to the services on Tuesday.

Ellen Isabel Cloud, daughter of William and Isabel Chinn Cloud, was born August 29, 1919 at Fort Dodge. She was educated in the Fort Dodge school system. She worked for the Bell Telephone Company. On Dec. 27, 1945 she married Orlo Oscar Bibler at Fort Dodge. The couple farmed north of Stanhope. They retired from farming in 1985. Mr. Bibler died September 30, 1996. She continued to live on the family farm.

Mrs. Bibler is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Bettie Jane Bibler of Granger, A David and Becky Bibler of Algona; daughter, Kathleen Porrez of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Eric, Emily and Heidi Bibler, Kelly Dwight, Martin Porrenz, Bridget and Andy Schievert, great-grandchildren, Alexia Carter, Madelyn Porrez, Colby Dwight, sisters, Myrtle Clabaugh of Fort Dodge, Ethel Swanson, Omaha, Neb; Jessye McVicker, Ripon, Calif., several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a great-granddaughter, Katelyn Porrez, sister, Edna Florea; brothers, Verne and Albert Cloud.

She was a member of the Stanhope Parish.
