Joe Wood, 51, of Webster City, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at the Albert Lea Medical Center at Albert Lea, Minnesota. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center. It was Joe's wishes to be cremated. No other services will be held at this time.

Joseph Kenny Wood, son of Floyd and Ruth O'Laughlin Wood, was born September 4, 1953 at Winona, MN. He received his education from the Winona Public Schools. On August 15, 1987 he married Dixie Garth at The New Testament Church of Christ in Webster City. Joe along with his wife, Dixie, owned and operated J & D Trucking of Webster City. He had most recently been driving for Liquid Agriculture of Williams. He had been a truck driver for over 35 years.

Joe is survived by his wife, Dixie of Webster City; daughters, Lisa and Sarah Wood of Sac Ctiy; daughter and son-in-law, Dedra and Ed Nerland of Williams; son and daughter-in-law, Marcus and Amanda Anderson of Webster City; two granddaughters, Haley and Cassidy Nerland; and one brother and two sisters of Winona, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Joe was a member of the New Testament Church of Christ in Webster City and was a former Mason in the 3rd Degree.
