Virginia M. Tuttle, 78, of Webster City, died Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Crestview Senior Living. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2005 at the Foster Funeral & Cremation Center. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Virginia May Ashby, daughter of Clarence and Mable Schminkey Ashby was born on June 16, 1926 in Des Moines. She received her education in the Des Moines area. On March 9, 1944 she married Claude (Buster) Norton at Omaha, NE. They resided in Omaha until 1946, when they moved to Webster City. They later divorced. She had worked for Nissens and then for over 10 years at Electrolux. On August 28, 1976 she married Louis Tuttle at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She worked for Carriage House in Ames for 15 years until her retirement in 1996. She had been residing at Crestview since April of 2004.

She is survived by her husband, Louis, of Ellsworth; three sons, Mark and Jeff Norton of Webster City, Kevin Norton of Ellsworth; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and a sister, Vera Wadle of Des Moines.

Mrs. Tuttle was preceded in death by her parents, a son Kenny Norton; one sister, five brothers and one step brother.
