Grace B. Gnade, 80, of Webster City, formerly of Waterloo, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at the Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City.

Grace was born on December 21, 1926 in Little Rock, Iowa the daughter of John and Trientje Harms Becker. She married Kenneth L. Gnade on December 21, 1945 in Waterloo. Grace had worked on the sliced bacon line for Rath Packing Company and most recently worked at the Webster City Middle School until 2000. She had lived in Waterloo until their move to Webster City in 1986.

Survived by: husband of Webster City; one son, Daniel (Judy) Gnade of Manteca, CA; one daughter, Barbara (Larry) Furman of Blairsburg; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother, James (Georgiann) Becker of California; three sisters, Jean (Les) Wildeboer of Independence, IA, Jo Boekhout of Little Rock, IA and Gert Krahling of California. Preceded in death by parents; three brothers, Harold, Harm and Dwayne Becker; three sisters, Dina Lloyd, Fannie Ackerman and Effie Moncur; and one granddaughter, Brenda Odem.

Funeral services will be on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, Waterloo, with burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be for two hours before services at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
