Glen (Smoke) Frazier, 80, died early this morning at the Stratford Care Center where he had been a resident the past week. He had been in ill health the past six months.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Raymond M. Roden officiating and with burial in Cass Center cemetery.

Glen Frazier, son of Tommy and Alice Williams Frazier, was born March 31, 1901 at Guthrie Center. He was reared and educated in the Boone area and was employed for several years in the Boone area.

On May 23, 1939 he was united in marriage to Gladys Capsel at Clarion. He was employed for many years in the Clarion, Eagle Grove and Webster City areas, retiring in 1960 and residing at 310 North Oak Ave., Webster St. [???}

He is survived by his wife; one daughter and one son, Mrs. Arlo (Wanda) Witte of Boone and Walter Hilpipre of Webster City; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Pearl Iverson of Mason City, Mrs. Ted (Dorothy) Adams of Woodward, Mrs. Clifford (Martha) Williams and Mrs. Henry (Nellie) Claybough, both of Madrid and Clint Frazier of Boone.

He was preceded in death by an infant son; one granddaughter, both parents and one brother.
