David H. Hilpipre, 47, Webster City, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002 in a one car accident north of Webster City. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. John Grebner officiating. Burial will be in the Cass Township Cemetery, north of Webster City. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.

David Howard Hilpipre, son of Walter and Mary Lou Keller Hilpipre, was born August 2, 1955 at Webster City. He received his education in Webster City schools. On Nov. 26, 1973 he married Patricia Burchett at Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City and to this union, two children were born. The couple later divorced. He had been employed at Electrolux for 23 years.

Mr. Hilpipre is survived by a daughter, Brenda Sue Hilpipre DeVesta of Mingo, sons, Anthony Allen Hilpipre and Randy Lee Grayson, all of Newton, special companion, Bonita Forsti of Webster City, Ms. Forsti's children, Tara Forsti, Fort Dodge, Trisha and Tressa Forsti of Webster City, six grandchildren, his father, Walter Hilpipre, sister, Mary Ellen Koestner, brothers, Tom and Walter, Jr (Pierre) Hilpipre, all of Webster City, Dean Hilpipre of Alden, Richard Hilpipre of Blairsburg, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

He was a member of the United Auto Workers Local #442, Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited.
