Mrs. Della Amsden, 93, mother of Ted Amsden of this city, died Saturday afternoon at the Hamilton County hospital following a short illness. Mrs. Amsden has been making her home in Webster City the past several years.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Harry T. Ehlers officiating and with burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Della Berry, daughter of James and Dianna Berry, was born Nov. 16, 1873 at Cultus, Ontario, Canada, and was reared and educated in Canada.

She was united in marriage Nov. 19, 1899 at Fessenden, N.D., to Charles Amsden. Mr. and Mrs. Amsden resided in North Dakota, Michigan and at Des Moines. Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1950. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Mrs. Sterling Hatch; two sisters and one brother.

She is survived by three sons, James Amsden, Des Moines, Ted Amsden, Webster City and Stanley Amsden, Omaha; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Willis Berry, Brantford, Ontario and Mrs. Alice Payne, Springfield, Mo.

Mrs. Amsden was a member of the Universalist church.
