Stanley E. Riemenschneider, 74, of rural Woolstock, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at his home following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Howard Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and prior to the service on Friday.

Stanley Earl Riemenschneider, was born October 10, 1930 at State Center. He received his education at State Center, graduating in 1948. On November 5, 1949 he married Letabelle Garretson at State Center. The couple farmed at State Center. In 1957, the family moved to a farm northwest of Woolstock. He also had raised miniature horses since the mid 80's.

Mr. Riemenschneider is survived by his wife, Belle; daughters, Cathy Vanderheiden of Eagle Grove; Vicky Hahne of Webster City; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Holly Riemenschneider of Webster City; grandchildren, Stefanie Deibler of Webster City; Mark Riemenschneider of Des Moines; Kelly and Andy Midtling of Boone; Jason Hahne of Webster City; great-grandchildren, Jordan Smith and Harley Wood.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His memberships included Woolstock Farmers Cooperative; Woolstock Mutual Telephone Board; several horse organizations; past president of the Eagle Grove School Board and the Wright County Farm Bureau.
