Troy Parkhill, 32, of Windsor Heights, died Monday, March 28, 2005 at his home of a cardiac disease. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Faith United Methodist Church, with Rev. Brian Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Cass Township Cemetery, north of Webster City. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and at the church after 11:00 a.m. Saturday.

Troy Allen Parkhill, son of Dennis and Dottie Martin Parkhill, was born May 29, 1972 at Fort Dodge. He received his education in Webster City schools, graduating in 1990. He served in the U.S. Army-Armored Division for two years, during Desert Storm. Following his discharge, he attended I.C.C.C. at Webster City and Huron University at Sioux Falls, South Dakota with a degree in criminal justice. He had been employed at the Jerry Rabiner Ranch at Fort Dodge, Eldora State Training School as a counselor, Lutheran Boys and Girls Home at Ottumwa and currently John Deere at Ankeny.

Troy is survived by a son, Jase Devan Parkhill of Sioux Falls; his parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marty and Chris Parkhill of Webster City; Scott and Dee Parkhill of Urbandale; JR and Kerri Parkhill of Windsor Heights; four nephews and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and when in high school was active in football, baseball and basketball.
