Oliver Rehnblom, 82, Webster City, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001 at Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Morgan and Cindi O'Brien, ministry assistant officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Sunday and after 11:30 Monday at the church.

Oliver Eric Rehnblom, son of Gustaf and Anna Haglund Rehnblom, was born Dec. 12, 1919 on a farm north of Bells Mill. He attended Harmony rural school and graduated from Lincoln High School in Webster City in 1937. On Dec. 21, 1947 he married Ione Parrish at Fort Dodge. The couple farmed southwest of Webster City, moving to Webster City in 1986. He continued to farm until failing health forced his retirement. Mrs. Rehnblom died Oct. 15, 1989. He moved to Southfield Wellness Community in October of this year.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Lori Rehnblom, Webster City; grandchildren, Shawn, Chris and Kady Rehnblom; special friend Theda Johnson, Webster City; nieces and nephews, Owen Rehnblom, Anne Rowe, Patty Walker, Vicki Olthoff, Lori Larson, John, Tom and Dennis Bell; Kristi Sogaard, Mark and Tim Yates, Brenda Call and Nancy Keane; several great-and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addiiton to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; brother Ivan Rehnblom and sister Martha Williams.
