Violet Evans, 67, Webster City, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Blairsburg Cemetery with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Violet Mae Evans, daughter of Albert and Grace Burkhead Evans, was born April 4, 1934 at Webster City. She attended Webster City Schools, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1953. She had been employed at Hahne Printing in Webster City, then attended a bible college in Norfolk, Neb. She moved to Fort Dodge and worked in several restaurants. Returning to Webster City, she worked at Electrolux until her retirement.

She is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Helen Evans, Webster City, Robert and Norma Evans of Daly City, Calif., brother-in-law Robert Sealine of Kamrar; sister-in-law Irene Evans of Webster City; several nieces and nephews.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kenneth, Everett and James Evans; sisters Margaret Loder and Marie Sealine.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.
