Darlene L. Youlden, 78, Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Webster City, died Dec. 8, 2001. She was born Sept. 6, 1923 in Webster City. The celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Cape Coral. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Hope Hospice or First Baptist Church of Cape Coral.

She is survived by her children, Marcia and John Wilson and Dennis and Linda Youlden; three grandchildren, Heather Wilson McCoy, Emily Youlden Rundquist and Eric Youlder; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Hoover. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley, and a brother Darrell Hoover.

She was a member of the PEO Chapter FD and First Baptist Church of Cape Coral.

The Metz Chapel of Harvey-Englehardt-Metz Funeral Homes of Cape Coral is in charge of cremation arrangements.
