Mildred Mesik Lamer, 79, Eagle Grove, a former resident of Webster City, died Tuesday at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, Webster City, with Pastor Harley Johnson officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.

Mildred F. Dishman, daughter of Claude and Ethel Mann Dishman, was born December 4, 1921 at Iowa Falls, Iowa. On April 4, 1969 she married Claude Lamer at Papillon, NE. The couple lived in Battle Creek, MI., retiring in 1987 and moving to Webster City. In the mid 1990s, the couple moved to Eagle Grove.

Survivors are her two sons and daughters-in-law, George and Patricia Mesik Jr., of Blue Springs, MO., Alan and Suzan Mesik of Cottage Grove, OR.; daughter Becky Jo Mesik Black and her husband, Thearon "Butch" Black of Battle Creek, MI.; nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; sisters Bernice Coates of Wisconsin and Betty Terry of Eagle Grove.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Mesik, who died in July of 1965; brothers, Robert and Claude Dishman; sisters, Florence Latch and Evelyn Wiley.
