Monday, October 8, 1956Denys Ann Gillman, 7, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Gillman, formerly of this city, died Friday morning in California following a short illness. The Gillman family had been making their home the past two years at Azuza, Calif.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. R.D. Kitterman officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery. The body will lie here at about 1 p.m. Thursday and will lie in state at the funeral home.
Denys Ann Gillman, daughter of Everett and Rosemary Grandgeorge Gillman, was born Oct. 10, 1949 at Webster City. When she was a small child the family moved to Newton where Mr. Gillman was manager of the Halverson Shoe store until moving to California.
Surviving are her parents, one sister, Kimberly Eileen, 5, a grandfather, Ernest Grandgeorge of Webster City; several aunts and uncles.
