Friday, October 19, 2001Everett W. Gillman, 75, Pleasanton, Calif., died Oct. 16, 2001 at a Pleasanton hospital.
He was born Dec. 13, 1925 in Webster City. Mr. Gillman married Rosemary Grandgeorge on August 31, 1947. He worked for Haverson [should be Halverson] Shoes and The Hub in Webster City, moving to California in 1955. He worked for Brown Shoe Co. and Gates Rubber Co. He retired in 1995.
Survivors are his wife, Rosemary, a daughter, Kimberly of Oakley, Calif., a son, Kyle of Pleasanton, and a granddaughter Denise; a sister, Dorothy Proctor of Elliott, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter, and two brothers, Robert and Guy.
[I'm not sure if the 'granddaughter Denise' listed above is correct or not - they had a daughter Denys who died in 1956 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery in Webster City]
