R.J. COULTER DIES SUDDENLY

Robert J. Coulter, 45, a long-time resident of Webster City, died suddenly Monday evening following a heart attack.

Funeral services are pending. The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral Home. Time and place of services will be announced Wednesday.

Robert James Coulter, son of James and Hannah Coulter, was born Dec. 9, 1917, on a farm northeast of Stratford. He grew to young manhood in the Stratford community and was graduated from the Stanhope High School. After graduation, he engaged in farming in the Kamrar community for several years, later moving to Webster City.

At the time of his death, he was employed at the Morton Frozen Foods plant.

He was united in marriage Feb. 12, 1942, to Florence Smith, and to this union three sons and one daughter were born: Robert, Jr., Jon, Rebecca and Bradley.

Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Wallace (Maxine) Jans of Ellsworth, and one brother, Dean Coulter of Stratford.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Mr. Coulter was a member of the Methodist Church.
