John "Jack" Reinsel, 86, Webster City, died Sunday, August 25, 2001 at the Southfield Wellness Community. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Webster City with Rev. John Flaherty, celebrant. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral Home.

John Charles Reinsel, son of Charles and Elizabeth Keck Reinsel, was born April 24, 1915 at Webster City. He received his education from the Webster City Community Schools. On February 22, 1941 he married Fern Laura Risk at Webster City. The couple farmed in the Blairsburg area, retiring in the early 1980's. They stayed on the farm until failing health required them to enter the Wellness Community. Mrs. Reinsel died August 16, 1999.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Reinsel and a sister, Helen Christensen.

Mr. Reinsel was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
