Earl L. Tribbey, 69, Ellsworth, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth with Rev. Mike Herschberger officiating. Burial will follow at Homewood Cemetery in Ellsworth. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Becker Funeral Home in Jewell. Memorials may be given to the Bliss Cancer Center in Ames.

[according to the headstone at Homewood Cemetery in Ellsworth Tribby is the correct spelling of his last name; however the DFJ spelled it Tribbey - this is also where I found a birth date for him and that he was the son of Junnie & Mary Skinner Tribby]
