Ema M. Kahl, 96, a former Jewell resident, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001 at Bethany Manor in Story City, where she has resided since March 5, 1992. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2001 at Becker Funeral Home in Jewell with Rev. Jamie Johnson to officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. Friends may call at the Becker Funeral Home in Jewell on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at noon. A memorial fund has been established for the Bethany Manor Foundation and the Community Church in Kamrar.
