Margaret Marie Ewing, age 95, of Omaha, Nebraska (formerly of Ames, Iowa) died March 7, 2020 at The Lighthouse in Omaha, Nebraska. Margaret was born on November 10, 1924 in Dunlap, Iowa to Floyd and Laurel Flynn.

On December 11, 1944 Margaret was united in marriage to Dale E. Ewing. They were blessed with the birth of two sons (Dennis and Randy).

Margaret and Dale farmed near Stanhope, Iowa for several years. Following a serious farming accident that Dale suffered, he began a career in the seed business and Margaret assisted him as bookkeeper. In addition to being a bookkeeper for Dale, homemaker and loving mother to their two sons, Margaret attended the Ames School of Practical Nursing in Ames, Iowa, where she graduated with the class of 1965-1966. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She enjoyed an art of creating porcelain dolls, needlework, cooking and cherished spending time with family and friends.

Margaret's most important and greatest legacy is her love. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." I Corinthians 13: 4-7 NIV

Margaret lived these words all her life. All who knew her were touched by her loving spirit. We're so grateful that God saw fit to allow us to be so deeply loved by her and for us to love her so deeply.
