Blanca Joni Perez Mercado, 38, of Ellsworth, died on Monday, June 15, 2020 from injuries sustained in an accident. Visitation will be Thursday, June 25th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com). Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 26th at Boman Funeral Home in Webster City.

Blanca was born on June 15, 1982 in Orange County, California to Sahira Peralta. She graduated from Saddleback High School and eventually moved to Iowa where she worked at Ellsworth Turkey. She was dedicated to her work and was a fighter and provider for her family.

Blanca enjoyed being outside in anyway she could. She loved animals of all kinds, including snakes. She liked to travel and explore and would often just go for a drive to somewhere new. Blanca was always bubbly, and happy, she had a big heart and would put others before herself, always helping and giving. She made sure that everyone was comfortable and never felt left out.

Blanca is survived by her children: Natalie Marie Licea Perez (Fiance Zac Lucero), Jonathan Alejendro Licea Perez, Yolanda Judith Licea Perez, Adan Alberto Licea Perez, Emalie Sarie Gonzaga Perez, and Regnaldo Jr. Perez; mom Sahira Peralta; brothers: Erick Mercado, Angel Torres, Peter Torres and Julian Torres; grandparents Connie Peralta and Jesus Peralta; and numerous other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family.
