Luella Rothrock, 91, of Webster City, died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the First Congregational - U.C.C., with Rev. Howard Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5 - 7 p.m. and prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
Luella Mae Brinkman, daughter of Harm and Lulu Whitten Brinkman, was born September 29, 1914 at Latimer, Iowa. She graduated from Dows high school. On September 5, 1943 she married Clifford Willis Rothrock at Riverside, Iowa. She was a homemaker and also worked for a short time at the Farmers Bank. Mr. Rothrock died October 18, 1981.
Mrs. Rothrock is survived by her daughter, Shari Rothrock of Webster City; son, David W. Rothrock of Des Moines; brother, Kenny Brinkman of Gilmore City; sisters, Ruth Suntken of Red Wing, MN; Delores Beto of Salem, SD: several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a member of First Congregational - U.C.C. and the American Legion Post # 191 Auxiliary.
